Mary shelly may not give a name to the monster for a few of reasons. First she makes the monster to look like similar to humans. Another reason is to show that all living beans are the same, and not one should treat other people differently. Just because of its external characteristics, even the interior of that bean is not respectable or moral. Mary Shelly wants to emphasise on that part of the society, how society react in this kind of cases.Victor shows his anger with not give him a name. Show his rejection. Show that people when the fell construct something, wants to reject. Or find a way to calm down the angry.
Many novels choose to don’t give a name to their character. For the reason is that characteristics of that character can represent anyone t, the person can attract this metaphorically or feel complex with its self (and feel like the monster). So the author can put us in the place of the monster. How the monster feel react, and the big massage is that many people around us feel the same way of the monster, and we should to something. Show them that we are all the same.
