You smoke a lot and you want to decrease smoking. The best way to decrease the cigars that you smoke every day is by using the shisha. The shisha is healthier for your health. The filter filters the nicotine and you inhale the taste. Most of the nicotine is not inhaled. This method was used by the ancient people. You can find shisha in Arabic and other countries and you can taste the best shisha there in the Arabic countries.

EASTER HOLIDAYS

When the last school bell rang I was happy. After school I had a conversation with my sister but was profound. Later I went to my house and I slept for a few hours and then I woke up and had fun with my friends. Another day I woke up in the morning and I went with my dad diving. In the afternoon when I came back from diving and I washed my things my friends came and again we had fun. In diving you can say that I am superlative. I enjoy most two of my days was when I went with my aunt and uncle to “Agia Marina tou Xiliatou” village. There I saw the traditional games of that village. One of the games was donkey races, and was a woman that was wearing mini skirt. One of the donkeys was ready before the other donkeys for the race and the guy that belonged to him was has bring his donkey there so the people can touch donkey. And the woman tried to climb. Was incoherent because that leady was married.

My name is Christofer Colombus. I am professor on weather atmosphere. I studied at Harvard University in the science department. Now I work for NASA weather section.

I have many years experience and the biggest tornado that I have ever seen in my whole life was the tornado in Zarpaizan. The speed was 300 km an hour. During that year I was in the college and I was doing my research project for my doctorate. The tornado was very thin and tall, and reach the sky. The sun could not be seen because the tornado was too big and made the clouds very dense.

The movie has some elements that couldn’t happen in the natural world. The scenes that couldn’t happen are when the director start the movie with that guy to try to protect his family and he put his family in a room and the door broke and only one person flew towards the tornado. And the other family members were left behind. This couldn’t happen because they had no protection from the wind. Another scene is when they run towards the tornado and the car breaks down and they come out from the car and they hold on to a wooden ramp and the tornado did not kill them its not possible to don’t happen because they were so close to the tornado and they will sucked and they should have been sucked in to the tornado. There was a scene when they stopped to collect the balls that were inside the box had the sensor can’t happen that because the tornado is too strong to take them with them. Or in the last scenes when they are in the car and the car was on the top of a trunk of a tree. The tornado threw the truck in front of the car and the car manages to pass from the fire that the truck made. This is impossible to happen because if a car try to pass from a fire will burn. Or when the farm trucks came like rain and the car pass the huge farm trucks so easily. And in the very last scene the tornado passes on top of them and they were not killed.
I think the director do a good work on this movie.

Dowries

Dowries are the goods that wives or their families give to their husbands. In certain societies and cultures dowries are a very important aspect of life. The main country that dowries began at and still exist it in is Pakistan. Also it still exists in the Indian-Pakistan borders. There are a number of girls that can’t get married because their families are poor and they can not give dowries for the husband or meet the “criteria”. Therefore only some girls, who come from rich or average families, can get married. These girls were forced to get married between the ages of 12 and 16 years old.

Dowries existed long time ago since the code of Hammurabi. It said that the woman had to give her husband dowries and if the wife gets divorced or dies without any children, the husband has to repay the dowries. Although the husband can reduce the price he has to refund. Also if the husband died the wife gets her dowries back. Dowries still exist today in different countries and cultures. Such as some parts of Europe, Africa and other parts of South Asia. Ancient Romans used to apply dowries to their daily lives before. One of the reasons dowries were used was for protecting the girls against unpleasant treatments. Precious metals lands and others were used so that the husbands or the family could profit from them. These dowries were used to help “start” a family. These dowries are given to the husband whom obtains total control. The dowries given were to confirm the marriage and it wasn’t anything economic. Also to keep the families close. The husband also had to pay a “bride piece” to the bride’s parent. In some traditions now especially in the Islamic religion laws, men have to pay a certain amount of money that they have promised the bride and her parents if they get divorced. It’s a compulsory tradition and men have no choice other than it. Today most people share dowries like the bride gets half of the things and the husband buys the other half to “create” their family. Although men still have to pay the brides price.

Many people had slaves living with them. Others had either their sisters or their sister whose husbands were dead. Poor women that were married did not have a slave to go out and collect water or work; the poor women had to do that. Basically poor women were treated like slaves because they couldn’t offer valuable dowries for the husband. If the couples got divorced the men had to return the dowries to the girl. In each country the gift that parents give to the daughter is different. Women did not have any rights to control the dowries for themselves. Dowries came to Europe before the homer period around the 5th century. Basically dowries are the presents that parents gave to girls to start their lives for example if they gave them money they can build their homes. Sometimes, nuns had to give their dowries so that they can join the convent. When the dowries are worthy, the husband usually treats the wife better. Dowries for poor women were thought as a form of charity. Just like Christmas stockings from the story where St. Nicholas, threw gold in the stockings of three poor sisters, provided for their dowries. Other well known people in history were St. Elizabeth of \Portugal and St. Martin de Porres.

We think that it should be illegal and we are against it because if the bride is poor then she wouldn’t be able to get married and that’s really unfair because she has to work hard and if she loved someone she couldn’t marry him. Also some women would really like to have a family to live with and children who would take care of her or her husband when they grow up. Another reason is that usually men are in charge of “creating” their families so they shouldn’t depend on women to give them dowries so they can start a family and new life. Although in some countries they are starting to become illegal they should keep it illegal and not change it beck to being legal because it’s a violent tradition. Thus governments should create really strict laws about dowries since they cause severe injuries, life-long scars or deaths. Men should also be a little civilized, if they can’t afford a marriage they should wait or speak to the bride and ask for help maybe and then repay it after.

1) It is possible to experience love at first sight.
I agree, because many people in Cyprus do that. Most teenagers if they saw a girl and this girl are good for that person they try to find out more about that girl like her phone where she lives and information like that. If they find that they speak to that girl they go and speak with this girl. And this person tells what he feels about that girl and then it comes the love.
2) Two complete strangers stuck on a deserted island could learn to love one another (and yes, stay with one another after being rescued).
I agree and disagree. I agree because if they are in an island that is desert will be loving each other because they will need each other to survive. One person to make something that will bet inside and the other to find food and make other things that they want to survive. I disagree because when they will come back will did not love each other because of the society will say things bad for that’s persons.
3) It is a good thing to sacrifice your happiness for the desires of others.
I disagree and I agree because if you want to play for final x-factor and your friend tell you to go on a restaurant to eat Cyprus food you will go? That is one reason that I disagree. Another reason that I disagree that if your friends tell you to go and jump from a cliff for fun will you go? I agree because sometimes when you are happy will change in few min. sometimes it’s good to sacrifice your happiness for others.
4) Women in your society are free citizens.
I agree and I disagree.
I agree because they have the equal rules like men. Women in Cyprus have a Women’s Day that honours them. Another reason is if the girls want to go somewhere they get the car or any transportation system and go where ever they want.
I disagree because in Cyprus we have some church like “Stavrovouni” that girls can not go in for many reasons. And also men have in Greece “Agio Oros” that girls can not go. And from ancient years women can’t go to “Olympic Games”.

Outsider

I like both the movie and the book. I think I enjoyed most of the movie because I don’t like to read but I like to watch. The book has more information than the movie. The movie was half of the book and did not have the basic information of each scene. The book is on first person the movie was not on the first person. One thing that I didn’t like in the movie was the beginning when the Pony Boy started to write the story and at the end it didn’t show Pony Boy ending the story. Another thing that I didn’t like that the movie was too short. One thing that I like from the movie is that the main theme is emphasized. The quality of the movie was good and the actors too. I think if the writer of the book plays more the movie will be better and the person that watches the movie can see the author of the book. This book is exactly what a teenager wants to read, because the entire thing that tells this book teenager like to read watch movies about that and to make them happen.

New warrior

Did you know that cats can be warriors?
It’s time to believe that because in the wars, cats fight with the human soldiers. I found a few days ago the lieutenant of cats. And he told me that cats go to wars and fight with the warriors for their country. The name of that cat is cs-cat 007. The guns that cats use are m-16, rifles and shotguns. Also he told me on 20/1/2009 they will have a war with Zarpaizan cats. Cat's has its own method to fight. Cats have kingdoms and one of the kings controls the land that belongs to them.
